2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address - used for account identification, login, and communication.
  • Username - your chosen display name on the platform.
  • Password - stored as a secure hash. We never store or have access to your plain-text password.

License and Device Information

  • Hardware ID (HWID) - a unique identifier for your device, used to bind your license key. This is collected only when you activate your license.
  • License key - your unique product key linked to your account.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank details, or other financial information on our servers. We only store your Stripe customer ID to link your payment to your account.

Usage Data

  • IP address - collected during login and API requests for security and rate-limiting purposes.
  • User agent - your browser or client information, logged for security auditing.
  • Activity logs - records of account actions (login, logout, license activation) for security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service, including account management and license validation.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe.
  • Enforce our licensing terms and prevent unauthorized use.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
  • Communicate important updates about the Service or your account.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, including D1 databases and Workers KV. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Password hashing using secure algorithms.
  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
  • Session-based authentication with expiring tokens.
  • Rate limiting to prevent brute-force attacks.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share limited data with:

  • Stripe - for payment processing. Stripe's use of your data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare - for hosting and infrastructure. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Law enforcement - if required by law, court order, or legal process.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to maintain your authentication session (auth token) and theme preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics services.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Audit logs (login history, license activity) are retained for security purposes. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data through your dashboard.
  • Update your account information (username, email) at any time.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

9. Children's Privacy

Ware is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.
